Instructor of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the international training, which was held at the Police Academy of the European Boarder and Coast Guard Agency, also known as Frontex in Zagreb, the capital city of the Republic of Croatia.
Participants of the training were acquainted with the history of the creation of the Police Academy of Frontex. They discussed training process of the Academy, as well as issues concerning its integration both in EU member and non-member countries. Participants also assessed amendments introduced in the 2017 unified training syllabuses and their significance in the process of retraining border guards.
The training was attended by the experts who created the Common Core Curriculum for Border Guard Education.
Participants of the training exchanged information on the approaches and the best practices introduced in their countries. Instructors will use the knowledge acquired during this training in the process of training border guards.
The training course aimed to introduce various training methods in the field of border management and share experience.
