Professional education / Educational process and grading system

Classes for basic training courses of the MIA Academy are held on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:30. Attendance at all class meetings is compulsory. The Academy has an examination computer center, a library and a gym. The trainees can see information related to classes, schedules and exam results electronically via a special web-site.

The Academy prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages and gambling on its property. Further details regarding rules of conduct can be found here.

The Academy always tries to improve existing training courses and introduce modern training methods. Theoretical and practical classes are held for trainees using simulated mock situations. The instructors apply a combined teaching method that helps the trainees to interact and thereby to demonstrate their abilities.

The trainees are graded according to the 3-component evaluation system of the Academy. These components are as follows: quizzes, midterms and final exams. The minimum passing score (combining the three components) is  100  total points.

The trainee will pass a module/training course if he/she earns more than  25  oints on the final exam and earns  51  points or more in all three components.

Further details regarding the Evaluation System of the MIA Academy can be found here.
